Below are details of the current diversions due to Roadworks which directly affect bus across the county.

Barnby Dun Road (between Derby Rd and Wheatley Hall Rd) will be closed from Monday 26th to Friday 6th February, 7pm to 6am daily [REVISED DATES].
Services 76/76A will run via Compton Avenue and Barnby Dun Road before terminating on Derby Road and returning via normal routes.
Service 84 via Thorne Road and Church Balk, returning via normal route to Barnby Dun Road, Livingstone Ave, Jefferson Ave and Thorne Road.

Carlton Road, Athersley will be temporarily one way between Wakefield Road and Rotherham Road with traffic only able to travel towards town centre (in the Rotherham Road to Wakefield Road direction) from Monday 5 January 2015 for up to 4 weeks for electric cable work.
Services 12 and 478 from town centre towards Athersley will divert along Wakefield Road (to the roundabout) and Rotherham Road.

Charter Row, City Centre. Several bus stops will be suspended from start of service until 0700 every day from 18th March until further notice.Stops 37023132, 37023134 & 37023135 on Charter Row (the first three stops coming around from Furnival Gate) which will be suspended for demolition works and/or delivery of materials.

Engine Lane will be temporarily closed to traffic for resurfacing on the following weekends:
Saturday 31st January 1200 (midday) to 0600 Monday 2nd February 2015
Saturday 7th 1200 (midday)to 0600 Monday 9th February 2015
Services will run between Shafton and Grimethorpe (and back) along Barnsley Road (Brierley), Church Street, Brierley Road and St Luke’s Road

Greystones Road will be closed one direction outbound from city. Monday 26th January to Friday 6th February
Service 84 to operate from city via Ecclesall Road and Ringinglow Road before resuming normal route at Hoober Avenue. Passengers wishing to alight on Greystones Road or High Storrs Road should be advised to alight on Ecclesall Road or continue around the loop and alight at the inbound stops on High Storrs Road or Greystones Road.
Service 84 toward city will be unaffected and should operate as normal.

Kirton Lane will be closed until 27th February.
Following service changes on 25th January, the diversion to the 87 has been updated and will be as follows:
Service 87 (the Goole and Thorne journeys) - Normal to Crookes Broom Lane, right to Station Road, High Street, Epworth Road, Thorne Road, Hatfield Road and as normal route.
Service 87 journeys from Goole and Thorne - reverse of above.
Service 87 short journeys to/from Field Road, Stainforth will not be affected and will operate as normal.
The shuttle service currently being provided by Doncaster Community Transport on behalf of DMBC will be extended to run until Friday 27th February. Passengers in Stainforth wishing to travel to Thorne will be able to change to a diverted 87 or the new X8 at High Street, Hatfield.
Shuttle Service:
A 30 minute shuttle service operated by Doncaster Community Transport will operate via the existing Service 87 route between the New Park estate and Station Road, Hatfield. The service will provide connections to Hatfield Railway Station, Stainforth Shops and services 87 and 88 to Thorne/Goole
From Westfield Villas (Hatfield) from 0700 then every 30mins until 1830
From New Park Estate (Stainforth) from 0715 the every 30mins until 1845

Masbrough Street, Masbrough will be closed to traffic from Sunday 24th August while the new junction is created on Centenary Way. A definitive end date for these works isn’t available but it is likely to be early/mid 2015.
Services 7 and 8 towards Kimberworth will be diverted between Rotherham Interchange and Kimberworth Road via College Road (Rotherham Central Rail Station), College Road roundabout, College Road (Masbrough) and Midland Road to normal route at Kimberworth Road (opposite Ferham Park). A temporary stop will be provided on Kimberworth Road between Midland Road and Wilton Gardens for outbound services.
Services 7 and 8 towards Rotherham will run via Midland Road, College Road (Masbrough) Centenary Way and College Road (Rotherham Central Rail Station) to the Interchange .
Service 22M towards Meadowhall will be diverted between Rotherham Interchange and Ferham Road as the 7 and 8 on to Midland Road then via Devonshire Street to normal route at Ferham Road*.
Service 22M towards Rotherham/Barnsley etc will run from Ferham Road* onto Devonshire Street and then as per services 7 & 8 from Midland Road to the Interchange.
This above closure will mean services 7, 8 & 22M will not serve Main Street or Corporation Street in either direction.
Additionally expect delays around the College Road Roundabout due to the amount of traffic backing up from the Masbrough Street roundabout.  Services 66 and X78 may be subject to short notice diversions should the traffic cause excess delays on journeys to Rotherham from Wortley Road- they will run via Midland Road.

Rotherham Road, Parkgate will be closed to traffic 9pm to 5am daily between 5th and 30th January.
Services 22, 22X, 108/109, 218, 221 & 228 will divert via Greasbrough Street, Greasbrough Road and Mangham Road (Barbot Hall Ind. Est) to normal route.
Services 41 & 42 will operate via Greasbrough Street/Greasbrough Road only (Will not run via Barbot Hall Ind. Est)

Scarsdale Road will be one way only towards Chesterfield Road on Wednesday 28th January to Friday 30th January & Monday 2nd February (0930 – 1530). Closed From Chesterfield Road to Derbyshire Lane junction.
Service 19 towards city centre to operate as normal to botom of Scarsdale Road then continue along Chesterfield Road then via Derbyshire Lane before resuming normal route at junction of Scarsdale Road and Derbyshire Lane.  Diversion doesn’t miss any stops.  Journeys towards Chancet Wood are unaffected and should operate as normal.
Service 20A towards Hemsworth to operate as normal to Heeley Bridge Retail Park then via Derbyshire Lane before resuming normal route at junction of Scarsdale Road and Derbyshire Lane. Journeys towards Hillsborough are unaffected and should operate as normal.

Skelton Lane will be closed from Monday 2nd February (at 0700) to Sunday 8th February (end of service).
Service 123 to operate via Drakehouse Lane and Sothall Green before resuming normal route in both directions.
Temporary stops to be located on Sothall Green near to Sothall Close.

Wheatley Hall Road (between Jefferson Ave and Derby Road) will be closed from Monday 26th to Friday 6th February, 7pm to 6am daily [REVISED DATES].
Services 76/76A will run via Compton Avenue and Barnby Dun Road before terminating on Derby Road and returning via normal routes.
Service 84 via Thorne Road and Church Balk, returning via normal route to Barnby Dun Road, Livingstone Ave, Jefferson Ave and Thorne Road.

First (Sheffield):

Service 20/20A - Owing to conditions, we areunable to operate on Derbyshire Lane or Scarsdale Road. Buses will run normallyto Heeley, then straight along Woodseats, right on Abbey Lane and willterminate at the roundabout at Hutcliffe Wood shops.

Service 25A - Not serving Chadwick Road (using Nodder Road instead). BetweenManor Park and Fishponds, missing Hastiliar Road using Prince of Wales Road,Castlebeck Avenue and Nodder Road.


Service 76 -Missing out Reney Avenue. Using Hemper Lane.

Service 81 -Not serving Acorn Drive. Otherwise normal.

Service 84 -Buses running normally to Hallowmoor Road, then to bottom of Hallowmoor Road,round Malin Bridge and back up Hallowmoor Road. Not serving Loxley due to roadconditions and badly parked vehicles at the bottom of Rodney Hill.

Service 35/36 - Not serving Jenkin Avenue, Beacon Way and Wincobank Lane -direct via Holywell Road.

Service 47/48 - In the south of the City, normal to Heeley and East Bank Road,but will turn at the Daresbury Road junction. Buses are not able to serve pastNewfield Green due to conditions on Blackstock Road and Leighton Road - socannot serve these areas or the stop at Newfield Green itself.

Service 51 - Route mostly normal, but because of conditions on Charnock HallRoad, a revised route in operation in Charnock; this is White Lane, CarterhallRoad, Charnock Dale Road, Arnold Avenue, Charnock Dale Road, Carterhall Roadand White Lane.

Service 95 - Buses will operate normally to South Road and then turn usingHillsborough Interchange. This is owing to a van parked opposite Tinker Laneterminus preventing buses from egress (one bus stuck). We are trying to getthis moved.
